Thanks so much for the quick review. We are there next week for 11 days staying in the sunset suite room 14. Never been here so your review helps alot I did have some concerns. How was the security at HSH. While I usually do not do trip reports I will pay it forward like you so the others can get information on the place.

Could you post an update when you return of room 14, we'll be staying there in a couple of weeks and would love some insight!

We are here now wi fi in room works great so able to get things out early. The room is dated but overall it is huge. It is kind of an eye opener when we first got here but it grows on you. We have always done all inclusive so we knew not to expect the same quality room. The balcony is huge and the views are great exept the roof of the other units. We are still enjoying it. As Guirigay said the property is small but it adds a certain feeling. The staff from the minute you check in are all friendly and will get anything you need. Still have time here so if anything else comes up I can let you know. I had some reservations before we arrived but am having a wonderful time here.

I got the impression that some rooms are dated, while others have been upgraded (i.e. the ones with orange walls). Is this true?

We haven't been there yet - this is just my assumption from talking to the management and looking at pics online. We chose room 9 because it looked to be updated and were told that it had a new split a/c unit.

Just wanted to follow-up with my previous question, now that a few folks have stayed at Home Sweet Home. Can you tell if certain rooms are more updated than others?

I thought I heard someone say that HSH was undergoing some renovations, but that they haven't hit all the rooms yet.
