Cheapest Transportation to and from Airport?
Hi Everyone -
We are finally getting back to Jamaica after a one year hiatus - hated missing last year!
I'm looking for input on the transporation companies that are the best/cheapest. We have also thought taking the puddle jumping flight when we arrive and then just taking a taxi back to the airport at the end of the trip. Has anyone taken the flight? Is it worth it??

I've taken the flight. It's fun. But it has to during day-time hours.
The drive is nice, too. You can do Juta for about 20 dollars or a shared ride with Clives for 30 dollars.
Or a private ride with Kingsley from Take Care Tours for $50.

ask for a local taxi to the mobay bus park, get out and take the bus to Lucea, get out at bus park and catch the route taxi to Green Island, get out and catch the route taxi to Negril, it's just that easy!

We use Alfreds Taxi for 50 bucks total and he provides you with a free phone to use - great service
I think it depends on how many are in your party. For just one person I believe JUTA is the cheapest. If you have 2 then I would suggest Alfreds and get a private ride for a just a few dollars more than paying for 2 JUTA tickets. Any more than 2 I can't say because I never priced a ride for more than 2.

Kenny does airport transfers for $60 for two or three people with a nominal fee for 4 or more passengers
