Seems to me the problem is not with the hotel, its with the booking agency. I am not a big fan of these third party agencies - yes, they give good deals but if its too good to be true it often is...

That said, every hotel should have control of their own inventory and I'm pleased to hear Expedia took care of LuvJaBad. When you book in Negril during high season, especially through a third party discounter it couldn't hurt to make phone calls directly to the hotel to ensure you have what you want coming to you. This way if there is an error or a possibility of being bumped dealing with it before you arrive as best you can will alleviate any stresses once you get here.
