Well...that's a little "judgey" - the "encouragement" I witnessed that day was a few pats on the backside to get it moving - in hub's case a pat and a gentle push. Hardly call that a "whack". Whatever.

I have no problem w/ that. I was glad not to see the donkeys being hit in last Sunday's race videos. It looked like good fun, for sure.
