I have an interest in weaponry so I collect machetes. I have everything from a cuban to a modda thomas, from "war" machetes to cane knife- I got a couple of those as they are my favorite.

Also make sure to replenish whatever jerk sauce I am low on, either Bigga's or Bourbon Beach's or Ossie's. I used to make my own but now just buy giant gatorade bottles. Also pickle from Miss Sonia.

And honey. I love the honey from JA. And green coffee as I like to roast it myself.

A few things I bring down, which you still can not get. Real ketchup, and soppresatta.

I keep meaning to bring back some cocoa but always manage to forget.

I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.

I also buy a sheet of Bob Marley 3 JMD stamps.
One time the Post Mistress ( a lovely Christian Lady) at a small village postal agency. (P.A.) in the beautiful Garden Parish of St Ann, and I had a discussion while I was purchasing the Bob Marley 3 JMD stamps.
She enquired why I was buying them as In her opinion ,' Bob Marley never did anything for Jamaica'.
I told her that all my family and friends love to have this special souvenier from Jamaica on their cards and letter.
I choose not to involve myself in a discussion out of respect for her as I have often heard that many of the elder Christians won't forgive or forget
this song from Brother Bob Marley.

    I'm a gonna take a just-a one step more

'Cause I feel like bombin' a church -

Now - now that you know that the preacher is lyin'.

So who's gonna stay at home
When - when the freedom fighters are fighting?

Cold ground, Nine Miles, Jamaica, St Ann.

I also buy ice picks and demonstrate how to freeze big blocks of ice. Run it under water till cracks appear and then to tap it lightly with the ice pick held properly at the base of the wooden handle, while holding it in the palm of your hand and not puncture any main arteries.
Some have found it a usefull skill.
I also love the little rum measures resembling a minature beer mug.
Often can be found at Chinesse general supermarkets.
They look cute sitting on the top of a bottle of anything and always remind me of Jamaica.

    Cool

I don't have access to purchase a Bubba Keg, where I presently reside but I think that the Brand Thermos is the equivalent.
I find it great as am quite clumsy and frequently knock over things. With a covered insulated mug, What's in My Cup stays in My Cup.
Cold and nice without foreign or Local creatures being able to crawl in .
