This is the hotel doing Michele. Four other persons have won prizes and have confirmed there travel dates and are ready to travel. Halfmoon Resort is a legitimate business and this is a way of giving back to the society.
The Hotel numbers are listed and our office opening hours are 8am to 6pm. I can assure you this is not a scam. We are awaiting you and your boyfriend to have a wonderful vacation in Jamaica.

The grammar alone would warn me that this is not legit.

Play along and see if you can find the scammers...and report them...or punch them in the face.

Chooch glad you didn't go for this. Did not sound right. How do they know about a boyfriend unless you've told them already? Hope that someone else does not fall for this. I would rat them out. Hope that you do book a real trip and know that you paid for it. Also if your boyfriend wanted to go will have time to get a passport with out rushing it.

Rob, I just sent u all the correspondence from facebook.
AND I just called the corporate office and they said yes it is a total scam and they are investigating the source, I sent them all the correspondence.

Yea I can't believe I fell for it too, I thought their FB page was real....duh!!!!! Live and Learn!!!!! Thanks to Rob, I didn't lose any money.
I thought it was fake too but when they gave me actual phone #'s I believed it but I was gonna call the hotel directly too.
I'm usually not that naive or gullible but I guess my love for jamaica had me blinded for a minute.

yea ohliz, it was a fake facebook page the one it was halfmoonjamaica they just took it down now.
they were pm'ing me saying it's not fake & am i giving up my prize etc....

I forwarded everything they sent me to Rock Resorts corp office.
Now I see the took the fake page down or they blocked me.
