Since visiting Negril tends to fly by faster than a speeding bullet, describing our travel to get here in a Negril minute seems pretty accurate. Thank you, US Airways! We were 20 early in Charlotte then 20 minutes early getting to MoBay. Alfred, our amazing driver was waiting for us. Since I'm traveling with an air cast on my foot, he took extra care of us. He wants to take us to a mineral spring that he says has healing powers that he says will fix my broken foot right up. I'll try anything once.

Back in paradise! It's an amazing feeling being back. I'm already planning for a trip unlike any other. I've realized quickly that walking on the soft sand with a broken foot will be a challenge. Lots more swimming and a lot less walking will be the plan for the next couple of weeks. Nothing wrong with that.

Those Red Stripes sure go down fast - especially on the first day! After a few of those on the beach we watched our first sunset, got cleaned up and went to dinner. Looking for someplace close to our hotel, we decided on Gino's Restaurante at Mariposa. We had tried it a few times and gave it an average rating, but last nights dinner was the absolute best! Chris had some chicken and linguini pasta and I had pasta with ham, peas and mushrooms. We also found a nice bokkle of wine - pricey but not bad. It was the chianti.

Time for some breakfast, cambio and digicel minutes. Let the adventure begin!
