    SeaSplash was Boomtastic

Thanks to Jim, we had a great time at SeaSplash!!! Everything is perfect there, I am sure we will be having a great time at SeaStar, we just arrived and the RedStripes are cold, and my belly is full. Cheers!

    I like Sea Spash too - but . . .
the 70's - 80's mix (no Jamaican misic) leaves much to be desired.

Is this going to become another Margaritaville?

Winston who is the sound engineer at Sea Splash will play anything you ask. If you had wanted Jamaican he would be happy to play it.

Yes, Winston will play what you ask hinm when the boss is not there, otherwise he plays "what the boss tells him to play"

Besides - I want to hear Jamaican music when I'm in Jamaica - and I don't want to have to go and ask for it.

My exact thought as well. I was considering staying there for my last 3 days, however if I have to hear 70's and 80's music I will have to cross it off my list...

Now C&D bar is a different story. They know how to rock the country there and I'm not much for country.

Booger go stay there. Both "The Boss" Jim, and Winston are the most accommodating people I have ever met. I am positive that all you have to do is mention that you want to hear Reggae and it will happen. They played a lot of Reggae when we were there and if I asked for a specific artist Winston always played a few songs from that artist.

At the risk of offending anyone: I'll listen to Barry Manilow's Greatest Hits on repeat if it means I'm sitting anywhere in Jamaica...ok...maybe I am exaggertaing...LOL...but ya get me.

I PREFER Jamaican music...at all times. But DJ...do ya thang.

When I'm pon da island...I go with whatever flow is flowin'. Mi will live. LOL Red Stripe please!

Jim seems to be doing a pretty good job of doing what it takes to expand the business and make a go of it. The word we got while on the beach is they'd like to take some business away from The Jungle, not Margaritaville.
