Seen a post by Monk and it reminded me about the "Buy a Block Program" that the good folks at Travellers Resort
run.
You buy a block for ($100 JA ,cheaper than a beer) and it goes to schools through out Ja to help schools build small additions to their schools.You go to the front desk and buy the blocks, they issue you a receipt and you get to paint your name on it, simple.
This is a Great way to give a little something back to the people. And it's cheap too.
I hope a few people will consider doing this. It's 's something Monk has has been behind for years and I'm happy to support this worthwhile cause annually .

The last time we were there for a short week I didn't get there myself .
The trip before that I got a few bucks off of family and friends and we purchased many blocks but paintedjust a handful as it was very hot and it took time...lol.
I will collect some cash from peeps and try and get a load more as we have many days and will make sure it gets done.

and you never know who you will see signing blocks....shaggy, bounty killer, lady saw, sizzla, iwayne, rayvon, etana....lennox lewis, luciano, steven marley...boardies....I get a kick out of dropping off blocks at schools with names like 'fatty' and miss blue and everyone's names I can recognize from the forums.
