Airline tickets

Even though I purchased our tickets in December Expedia keeps sending me e-mails with "The Best Fares to Montego Bay".
Usually I don't check prices after I make a purchase but this time I did. They've been going up, up, up. We paid $584 per person and that is more than we ever paid before but we really wanted the nonstop flight from O'Hare to MBJ. Now the price is $845 per person! I've never even paid that much to fly to Europe. Would any of you be willing to shell out that kind of money?

The flight we booked in January has gone up over 300 dollars and has hit over 1000. I'm just thrilled we bought when we did. But I'm with Marko, air prices wouldn't have stopped us from going. We'd have downgraded our accomadations and packed a lot of Raman.

I keep getting the same email from Priceline... Ive been looking for future trips, my mind is pretty much made up to buy now and stop the guessing game.That is if I see a decent price. The outlook doesn't look good that's for sure. This isn't only hurting us at home, as always it's cripples Jamaica. I better stop now, I don't wait to get into my rants on government,, etc, etc.
