Kevin I am enjoying the trip through your eyes. Years ago we did a long Labor day weekend hop to the Island w/o room reservations and ended up at Blue Cave Castle. A 6:00 a.m. flight combined with a 4:00 p.m. doors open afternoon storm out over the sea siesta ended up being a sleep through the night and wide awake at 4:00 a.m. event,,,, and that sat the sleep cycle for our stay. Smokes and coffee with brown sugar and that thick cream were shared with the shephards (they still there?) and the night watchman (I believe his name was Tom) every morning at 4:00, dawn trips to Royal Palms, sitting at the old Easy Rock with Sue before she went to school, sunning at Rondel through noon, sharing a bed during afternoon storms and not fulfilling evening plans became the order of the day on one of the most body and soul replenishing trips we have ever done to Negril. I could roll over and peel an ear to the sounds of traffic on the street without ever opening an eye and tell you the time. A truly soft landing. I am so glad that you and yours enjoyed.
