Thank you to everyone who enjoyed the report. It was my pleasure to be able to give back. It also gave me a chance to go through our pictures again and relive every moment.

Hummmmm....a wedding in Negril? We thought about that....

Irieworld.....baby steps...lol....Next trip will be 10 days! Unfortunately our work responsibilities won't allow for much more than

yeah completely understood, my work never let me go for more than 10 days, and some trips were only a week. I made the best out of piggy backing onto holidays like thanksgiving or Memorial day to get more bang for my buck. A couple of years I was lucky enough to go 3 times, that whittled down to two, May and November, and now I am just hoping for one.
Regardless, I loved hearing of your first impressions and experiences, it brings back mine, and I think you did so well starting with the castle and Pee Wees

One of the things I quickly realized is that Jamaica can be whatever you want it to be. It's up to each person to create their own experience. If you're like me and most of your knowledge of Negril came from reading trip reports and watching webcasts, you'll discover there's much more going on when you get the blinders off and can see the full picture for yourself. At first it seems like such a big foreign place where your only welcome for your money. It doesn't take long though before you realize you do have a place in Jamaica if you're willing to drop your guard and open up to her.

    This is so true!
KevinPA - This was an awesome trip report! I loved it!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your first experience in Negril and all the great pictures (Hangover one was my favorite hehe - Markus looked exactly the same the next morning after a JB & Ting Spree. That stuff will knock you off of your feet! Oh and the lobster picture made me so hungry! I can't believe Lobsters will be out of season when we go in April)
    Thanks!
