    Sandy Haven?

Hubs and I are "cliff people" but he saw something on Internet about a new beach resort called Sandy
Haven. Says it sounds great - Does anyone have details, personal experience?? Thanks in advance.

I just returned from Negril. Sandy Haven is not open for business yet. The old 'For Real' beach resort is being completely renovated. My guess is that it will be months before the work is complete.

Thanks Banjo - we'll be in Negril in April. Will try to see where it is and swing by for a look.

I just read this weekend that it is opening March 5, 2012 (According to NegrilOneStop Newsletter) and they were announcing a March Special

This is adjacent to Sun Beach. The sign says "Opening Winter 2011" . Still fenced off with saws and hammers making noise.

    Check NegrilOneStop
They send out newsletters every month and I read it in there. Sorry, I have already deleted the email but if I remember correctly I think it was around $200 a night per couple (maybe)
I am sure it is probably on the negrilonestop website though

Sandy Haven is most certainly open and is absolutely fabulous, nothing like it on the Beach, very South Beach looking and great value for money. If you get a chance check out Bongos restaurant at Sandy Haven, the food and prices are unbeatable. A breath of fresh air to Negril. Congrats Sandy Haven!
