Hey Booger, Huge Zac Brown fan here also...lol
I set up my beach camp early , I smoke and listen to music , don't like it move down the beach, don't ***** about it.
    That simple.
i would never set up beside someone and the expect them to put up with me or my smoking and iPod tunes.
    That simple too.

I understand that there are people that do not like smokers, no problem with that & will always try to be respectful to them. But on a public beach........come on.....

If smoke on the beach bothers you that much, you came to the wrong place, I step outside in open air restraunt for my smoke after a meal, out of respect. But on the beach i'm lighting up, if you don't like it there are beaches in Canada that Nazi rules apply, sorry but I enjoy the people watching, and I don't get to pick their playlist. Sick and tired of everyone telling me what to do, that I'm might hurt myself. If i wanted another mother , I would listen to my wife. Cheers!

I don't think people care if you hurt yourself they just don't want to inhale your second hand smoke that might hurt them.

So, if I get a known carcinogen and mix it in water and put it in a spray bottle, is it okay for me to take it to the beach and spray it on all of the people that are around me? I mean, my mother and my wife would tell me not to but I got sick and tired of listening to both of them years ago. This is about me.

I would say that based on the above, there's those that do and those that don't!!
In the past, I'm sure we've fallen into both groups at some point, drinking, smoking, music....party time, it's Negril after all.
Then again, there are times when the sound of a jet ski does my head in if I'm chillin' so........
I have the attitude that if you play music I don't like, I hope I can move till I can't hear it, if not, I CAN play stuff much louder than you!!!
As for smoking, same thing really, you might have a chimney, I'll have a bonfire!! Rastafirie.
Rise early, treat everyday as though it's your last and your last day as it's your first.

People smoke, until they outlaw it, its a public beach.. move along if you don't like something.. I believe in nit disturbing your neighbor and I don't smoke. But I certainly recognize someones right to smoke when on a public beach.. I don't think its nice for them to park themselves in front of you close, I think that's the real issue.. 7 miles of beach and they pick your spot.. that's rude.. but someone listening to music and smoking if they desire shouldn't b against the rules.. again I don't smoke. This is my opinion.

Like I said, if I am inside I take my smoke outside, out if respect of others, even thou I have every right to sit at my table, after my meal to sit and enjoy my smoke at my table. If I am outside, I don't blow smoke at anyone, or disrespect them, I even smoke on my balcony for the most part, so our room doesn't smell like an ashtray for the next guest. But outdoors don't expect me to move because you don't like my smoke, music, or colonge. Next people will complain we laugh to loud, or the suns too hot, I don't think some people will ever enjoy their vacation , unless they have something to complain about. Cheers!!!
