    Greetings

umm you paid $350 total for 26 days?
thats $13.46 a day with AC, cable tv, minifrig and a pool?
    am I missing something?

Yup, I was more than a little worried since it seemed almost too good to be true, but it wasn't! I got a great deal since it was off season and I didn't need a room with kitchenette, but only one with ac, and they added the minifridge just for me if I remember correctly. Right now the same rooms are being advertised for $38 a night, still a fantastic price! Petronella is the manager, and she gave me a great deal and am looking forward to staying there again..would make it for my entire stay if I could, but my friend Lori wants to do AI and right on the beach, so it's Grand Pineapple for the first week I will be there, then when she leaves, will be going back to Summerset. They do have cottages with kitchenettes, as well as a large house to rent, don't know how many rooms that is, but I am more than sure that if you talk to Petronella and if it's off season, it might be possible to get a rate even cheaper than the ones advertised.

The 'hotel' type rooms are the only ones with AC, but the cottages start at $600 a month if I remember right.

lol, for off season anyway..the price for Grand Pineapple during offseason is $211 a night for my friend and I too, so it's like $115 a night each, not bad for AI at all.

Next year I will be doing 'peak season' for the first time..but that's just because I will be MOVING to Jamaica.

Thanks for posting all the pictures!! It is always good to see places up close and personal. Plus, esp. for those of us that might be looking for a long term stay, 1-2 month...the price kicks butt!! Next reach think I'll take a stroll down the lane and check it out. Enjoy your next trip!!

Thanks! Yes, I was very happy at Summerset and they do have some long term people staying there pretty happy too, at least the ones I talked with were. To tell the truth, for the price I paid, I would have been happy with half the amenities, so I did really luck out.
