I remember that...awesome memory! I was planning my first stay in the West End...and it was a heated discussion...

....there is a large resort back there.......
this is place for the well traveled that like some privacy and not a lot of frills.....
mi call it olde Jamaica....the way resorts use to be in Jamaica before the mega resorts showed up

Summerset sounds great. Looks great, too. Best deal I've heard about...the website has a lot of info, too.

I wasn't around for Olde Jamaica...but I hope some/lots of it hangs around because it's the main reason I love Ja so much.
