I'm with Goldilocks, it's always a given in the eyes of others that a solo traveler is in Jamaica for a man we can't get at home. I had a(white) man come up to me and say "It sure is nice to see a white girl with a white man". Caught me by surprise, my reply was," Im not with him, I'm with him". And pointed to the closest Jamaican to me. What a jerk! As for posting about what friends talk to us about, Im sure we all would not what our best friend to do it. And would say something to them in a different way, but we think everyone thinks in a Western mindset. Jamaicans Im sure think & react unlike we do.
