We have our rum punch and before we leave I say, I'm running next door to get a patty. She says, get 2. I say, oh after nearly 20 years you are finally gonna try one?
No, it's for the dog...ah...should have known.
Patties and water in napsack loaded up, we wander up the beach.

Always have to get a picture here. I have pictures of this sign 30 ft from the water, 30 ft in the water etc. Things change and yet still the same.

Ready to leave Cosmos, we both say, better get a few for the beach. I get 4 beers and stuff them into the napsack. Now 2 patties, one large water, 4 beers, beach towel, sun tan lotion, beach mat..this thing is getting heavy.
Walk past Long Bay public beach just ready to walk the short distance in the bush, well not reall bush anymore, its been cleared for some time.
There's a guy sitting in the shade there. A troll for lack of a better description.
Give me a beer. hmmmmm...does this guy have binoculars or something? Did he see me buying beers at Cosmos?
    No.
give me a beer...no...give me money for a beer...no....give me money for something to eat....no
Believe me, if I thought this guy was hungry I'd give him something, or even a patty from the napsack. But he looked like Rerun, and was the same size.....for you young folks, google Rerun,,,hey hey hey!!!!
Plus I've had more vocal run-ins before with him, the "you disrepect me and my country thing" because I refused his begging.
Anyway, we moved on and he accosted the next folks coming the opposite direction.

Got to the Big Beach Rental house, sometimes yellow, sometimes blue. Said hi to the craft guys set up there. Was looking for an aquaintance, Roland, but he wasn't around. Walked past the big house, there were actually people staying. A couple of young topless girls sunning there with a big older barrel chested guy hanging around. Time for some speculation, we do that some times..whats there deal, whats his situation? what's up with that? hey it adds fun to the people watching. We heard the girls talking, probably Russian or Polish or something like that....speculation time...must be Russian Mafia, ya thats it. After all, who else could afford that place, its around 10K a week I heard. I wonder if they know its haunted ?

Nice report! this gives me that warm "Life goes on" feeling as we left the day Whitney died. We wondered about the Big House occupants as well when we walked by
What's so funny 'bout Peace, Love and Understanding?

The next morning at breakfast was a beautiful morning. The morning parade starts early and we see strollers fro Sandals and Hedo taking a morning walk past our little place. Those 2 groups are a little more scenic than most beach walkers
The resturant has the usually cast as most are long term guests. We have nice conversations with several. As were talking all heads turn towards the beach.....this sight is even a little out of the ordinary for Hedo. I'm sure the staff at Our Past Times get an eye full everyso often, but even they had a giggle at this.
Down the beach come 2 guys, wearing, ahhh....I know the name , but its probably banned here...lets just say....wearing socks.
The socks were held on by strings. I'm sure this is some upscale deal and they paid a lot for this swim wear...but hey.
With towels over their shoulder they strolled down the beach.
Specualtion time. Its Rob and Fab....no no, not Negril.com Rob or Fab....you young folks google Milli Vanilli.
Anyway, it was a sight to see. I'm not a judgemental type, I even like no tan lines(one of the reasons we find a secluded spot), and this subject has been discussed on this board before. To each their own, just be respectful.
So off they went. Also, there's the batty boy factor which could mess up their vacation big time if confronted by the wrong set of folks.
After breakfast we set out again to see our friend at Sea Splash....and take a walk back. So off we went.
