    Clarity,

With regards to Seasplash, poolguywindsor (PGW) stayed there a couple of weeks back and had a great time. Mrs. Wilson also posted how much fun she had at Seasplash and how Jim and Ted took care of their guests. I think Seasplash is shaping up to be the pearl on the beaches of Negril, based on the reports.

Send them both a PM, I`m sure they`ll be more than happy to provide their view.

All three sound great to me, heard a lot of good about all of them. If it was me, I'd pick Seasplash, but that is because I also just love being able to sit in a jacuzzi and watch the sun set over the ocean..did that once, and wasn't staying there, but was a memorable experience, even if you don't stay there, you should at least check it out. I hope you have a fantastic time!

"wpyogi - That's a great deal with BarBBarn - thanks for letting us know about that, I'm going to look into that! No worries about the honeymoon suite. We wanted to book the honeymoon suite from the 23rd to the 27th. so it's not your fault. haha! Have an amazing time!
P.S. How far in advance did you book that room? Just so I know for future reference?"

we were like you and heard such great things about the honeymoon suite (thanks marley for the feedback!). i showed it to +1 and he insisted i jump on it immediately. we booked in late january and the dates were slim pickins. good to know we don't have the dates you were interested in. you are such a sweetheart, and i have enjoyed your reports immensely...i would consider cancelling! hahah!

great to hear you are heading back. i think 1-2 months out from a trip is the best time (next to actually being in negril)....the anticipation is so torturous, but great.

sending love and light your way for your loss.

Clarity, please check this one out, a true gem that's seldom mentioned.

Gatehouse Villa, specifically the front room. When you glance at their website, the room with the huge arch shaped front window is the front room. View of the ocean from your bed!
Incredible property for the pricing. Depending on your April dates around $89 per night, incredible bar on property, Tony's Hut. Staff are very sweet, very private, the vibe is total bliss and relaxation. Tony if asked can prepare some of the best meals that we have had in 15yrs of visits. Porch is awesome, shared kitchen is incredible (see reviews), hammocks by the bar will shut your eyes in seconds if there is a slight breeze. Incredible cast of characters stop by for drinks at random times. Most of all extremely safe, Tony runs a very tight ship.

If interested check w/ Ally phone # and e-mail on their website.

    Hope this helps.

Clarity, your reports are so vivid that I feel like I know you, so as a friend I would recommend Bar B Barn most definitely. Also, they have unofficial exchange privileges with Coral Seas across the road, and there's a nice pool -- you don't even have to buy a drink.

Clarity--between whitesands and BBbarn (I have stayed at both) I would definitely go with BB Barn and the breakfast that comes with is great. I have stayed there a few times and it feels like home.
I also like jambarney's suggestion of gatehouse villas--I love hanging out at Tony's hut--it is a great little bar in the sand with lots of character and Tony is such a good guy. I never stayed at Gatehouse but Tony showed me around and told me about it--it is on my list of spots to stay in the future. If you don't stay at Gatehouse, you should still check out Tony's hut for a drink--right next to Wavz--the big lot where various crafts and Niahs patties are located.

I really loved the look of White Sands, and almost booked it, but I was looking for a breakfast included deal.

Seasplash looks like a place that needs to go on a short list...
