    Boo! I was certain Rockhouse would be your place!

    But yes, what about one of the seaside cottages at Xtabi? Don't give up! With this board of resources, we will find you your dream anniversary spot!

    Or what about Blue Cave Castle?

    Have you checked out Seagrape Villas? I have friends who stay there every year and speak very highly of it.

    no matter where you stay / dinner at Ivan's in the moonlight :-)

    Some ideas:
    Villa Sur Mer (they are $200 night BUT its worth a shot to make them a reasonable offer and tell them its your anniversary) incredible property, send a super nice email and just see what happens.
    Almond Suite at Westender;
    Moondance Cliffs;

    ONE LOVE
    Sweetness

    Thanks everyone for all your help and encouragement. You guys are amazing!! I was feeling down in the dumps earlier today, but after reading your comments I had to smile.

    I've looked into all of your suggestions, the one that caught my eye the most was Villa Sur Mer... I just wrote them a letter, but then I saw the fine print about a 3 day minimum stay, so I don't think it's going to work out for us. Unfortunately it's considered high season until April 30th. This shoots it straight out of our price range. The westender looks beautiful though. Moondance cliffs also looks lovely, although more like a standard hilton hotel resort... It certainly has great reviews though. SeaGrapeVilla looks awesome, but only offer 2 bedroom suites. Blue Cave Castle is a possibility.. Although Markus didn't like it as much. he prefers rustic thatched roofs and wood over Castles. The Caves are out of our price range by about $500...I'm looking into Negril Escape, Xtabi, and Home Sweet Home now...

    I could always just call Rockhouse and Tensing Pen every day for the next six weeks asking if someone cancelled their reservations. I mean, Cancellations happen right?

    I'm sure it will all fall into place in the end.
    Thanks guys!

    There you go! All of those above are great choices.
    Villa Sur Mer is awesome! I always had a dream of renting out that whole property for some super crazy party or something.....did you see there is a tunnel from one side of the street over to the cliff that runs under the road....how amazing is that?!?!?!?! Let's hope they come back with something for you!

    Keep in mind also, that though it might not be your ideal way to go, that a lot of times great deals can happen from walk ups.

    tingalaya's
    hideawhile (a bit pricey)
    le mirage (very private, great pool)

    also check out zimbali retreats - i believe they have a mountain and a sea location - not in negril - but close to negril - but it could feel like a vacation in a vacation and a different experience living off the grid for a few days - check their website - i think marcus and mark (the owner) would get along perfectly

    here's the link http://zimbali-retreats.com

    this place sounds like an unforgetable experience!

    i know mark and his attention to detail is impeccable
