AND they also mentioned Rick's .............. I know a lot of boardies rip the place as too touristy and expensive ............... but it is a must see at least once ................ THE best sunset party in Negril ................ go see, be seen, catch the sunset action / cliff diving, then walk to LTU, Catcha or other nearby places for dinner .............. can't say you have done it all in Negril unless you been to Rick's

I saw that and just had to forward it to my friend Lori who will be going with me on my next trip come August.
I love Rick's, and even though I get nervous easily around crowds, it's not really crowded for a long period of time, if you go in the early afternoon or a little bit after dark, it's not that crowded at all, and even with the people, it's fun to hang around for a few minutes people watching. Rick's is a must do for anyone staying in Negril, if nothing else, to say they've been there, imho.
I love the Pelican Bar too, but since I have been three times, and it is a few hours drive away, I don't know if I will do it again this year, have to wait to see if Lori wants to make that our excursion or not, I'm letting her know what excursions there are and hopefully she will let me know, but if she wants to go to Pelican Bar after the article and check it out, that would be cool by me, it's a neat place to hang out. Lori and I are definitely going to be doing Rick's for at least one sunset, that's for sure!

Good to know I'm not the only one who loves Ricks. We've met some really cool people there.
