Nick, my 10 year friend and driver stays so cool.

I'm sure he has worries and concerns like most folks, but......

The other day, I called him and said "NIck, I need to make a run out to the deep West End" Yeah, yeah, mi soon come mon.

So, I kicked back and cracked open a cold one.

I have my chair on the veranda placed in just the right spot, so that I can lean back against the wall and sit in a tilted position while waiting. Ahh, nice!

When Nick is on the way, all is well in the world.

Soon, I can see his "unit" as he calls it, coming up the driveway.

I hopped in his car and we were off to see the wizard.

As Nick drove, I glanced around his car.

All he had was a drivers license and a cell phone stuck in a little compartment between the seats.

Man, now that's the way to get around.

Nice and simple.

My other driver had even less stuff.

I asked him if he was ready to take me some place and he said yeah, lets go.

He just jumped in the ride with only the car keys.

I looked down and he didn't even have shoes on!

Man, the simple life, the good life.

The most beautiful girls in the world, warm weather and fresh food.

These guys may have little money, but the pure joy of living is at their fingertips.
