    Foodie Heaven

I apologize in advanced for what is likely a repetitive thread, but I misplaced my "list" of all my favorite repeat spots and "must tries" from my last few trips.

Soooo, I consider Jamaica generally, and Negril especially, to be one of the greatest destinations for food lovers. Healthy, tasty, diverse, and spicey, I can't recall ever having a bad meal.

What are your recommendations for "must eat?" I'm already salivating at being only a few steps away from Niah's patties for a whole week!

    Cliffs:
    Anything at Ivans @ Catcha
French Toast breakfast or conch burger lunch at Xtabi
Pepper Shrimp at Pushcart (or just about anything there, jerk sausage and their rice and peas are also delicious)
Pumpkin soup and Chicken Lola at LTU
Jerk chicken at 3 dives or at De Bar

those are items I "must eat" on every trip....oh and jerk pork at Red Dragon!

Near White Sands: I love the eschovich fish at Sun Beach, the pumpkin soup at Idle Awhile, the fried chicken at Pilots Cafe, Niah's patties. I also like just about everything at Sweet Spot on the beach road.

Its been several years since I have been to Negril, (marriage, step daughter, divorce etc....) LTU had the best pumpkin soup, and snapper papaya boat was a favorite!!! Three Dives lobster, Alfreds Ackee and saltfish, Red stripe with everything!
