From Rhodes Hall to Negril, 120 to 140 JD, about 15 -20 min. I have spent the day there. It is serene & quiet, which is nice if you want time to connect and relax in peace. The infinity pool is beautiful. You can relax and enjoy a sub without any hesitation. The snorkeling is good, wear water shoes or fins when you walkout and swim asap. There are a great number of sea urchins close by between the shore and the reef.
The staff was nice and the food good. A few days stay there is a nice break.
Sounds like a good place for the actual anniversary break!
Would be so cool to sit at the edge of that infinity pool with a cocktail and watch the sunset. No doubt snorkeling would be amazing there too.
Clarity,
Jim and I stayed for Valentines one year. We really enjoyed our stay, but it was for only one night. The property is BEAUTIFUL and PEACEFUL. The only action is what you make yourself~~ The supper we had was good. The room was clean and big. Jim and I also went for the horse ride and swim with the horses. Now that was exciting. The way you two enjoy each others company, it won't be a problem

On our next trip to Negril, we most definitely will be staying at Rhodes Hall. Been to Negril many times, but RHP never and I cannot wait. Here is my question: If one is flying into MoBay and spending a week or so at RHP, I probably won't venture into Negril for the first day or two. Where would you stop between airport and RHP for provisions? Just basic stuff: rum, beer, cereal, snacks, fruit, veggies etc. Perhaps Hopewell, Lucea, Green Island or is it worth it to trek past RHP and head into Negril stores?
I have only ever made quick stops in these towns for a cold one and a patty. I am not sure where to stop for groceries? Thanks for you advice.
Mattmon
-We stopped at Mega Mart to get "my" rum ect...They have a local farmer that comes down with FRESH produce, pineapples, bannanas, tyme everything you would need.He comes on Wed.-When you get there Marsel can tell you about what time he gets there.Do you have you a driver yet?~Bless
