Yeah Vince that mongoose was a highlight of the trip for me, my friend & I were talking about Mongoose in Jamaica, and how fast they are, have to be looking in the right place to see em, and we look up & here is this Mongoose just standing there peering at us as if to say "Are you talkin about me? Ya must be talkin' about me, I'm the only Mongoose here", LOL! And eating Ackee right off the tree. I can say I have spent MANY hours trying to find ackee fruit on a tree & so far had not found it yet til Rhodes Hall. All the other trees around Negril, people grab that stuff QUICK It's one of my most favorite foods, cooked or raw. People in Negril got tickled seeing me walk around and "forage" for my food, LOL! Hopefully I can go do the day trip deal at Rhodes Hall again in a couple weeks.
