Just perusing the movies for tonight...on Comcast cable in our area, channel 775 PLDHD. Obviously, know what I am watching in about 15 minutes. BTW, on our line up...FREE!!

Yeah, I like Shottas also but I think my favorite JA film is Dance Hall Queen! Enjoyed the movie(for the third time) but as always the book is so much better. However, the sound track on the movie rocks! Now, if we could have a soundtrack while reading the book......perfection!

I am sick (my first cold of the winter!) so my only plans this weekend are to eat soup and crash in front of the tv and watch Dancehall Queen, love that movie. I think I have The Harder They Come burned on DVD somewhere too, maybe I'll watch that too.

The first time I saw "The Harder They come" was on the Madison campus of the UW.
That was in pre-vcr days.
In those days exotic/rare films were shown by campus film societies.
Every Thursday night you'd look for flyers stapled up on State Street to see what movies were playing on the weekend.
Any Badgers here remember those times?

I'm still lovin' the soundtrack.
