It has been purchased and will be undergoing restorations which have already started. It used to be the prime hangout in the 70s. Chuck, who managed it for years, is a great guy and still lives in Jamaica. My wife and I hung out there in the early 70s and until it closed. I never stayed there but ate a lot of real good food at their bar. I also miss it as it was a True landmark in the emergence of Negrilas apopular tourist site. They were one of the first places to electricity back in the good old days. I was told it is now under Canadian ownership but that might just be a rumor. Rob Graves probably has all the "poop" on the Yatch Club. He is an autority on Negri;'s history.
