Just put a hold on two tickets out of Detroit that put us in Montego Bay at 1:20pm April 21 and leave on Sun Apr 29 at 7:45am!! $623 a pop, yikes!! If nothing drops by tomorrow, that's our ride!!

Do you HAVE to travel on both Sundays? Any options to go Monday, return Tuesday? Also DTW must have a lot of folks going to MBJ, cuz there are few options open to ya and expensive (I'm looking at Airtran's site). If you could go Monday and return Tuesday, about $436.
PLUS, that's a crummy time to leave , so early in the morning on your return.
Do fares still commonly change 1am Wed mornings?

I agree that the return flight time isn't ideal, however... it's really hard getting a good return time on a flight leaving on a Sunday.

I think sometimes that is just a teaser to push you onto the button. Call the airline and ask. You can also book your tickets one-way at a time, sometimes you get more flexibility (choices) on the flights.Originally Posted by Guirigay

Have you tried the airfare matrix website? It's helped me to figure out what days have the best airfare prices and flights.
