Def not reggae but Soca is great for working out if you're looking fast, uptempo music! As much as I love my roots reggae, it just doesnt work for me in the gym!

Breanna, Kentroy, Cinni, Luvjabad, Littlebird - I'm going to check out all these songs and compile a playlist of my favorites to work out to tonight. Thank you!

I'll share the compilation list at the end - in case anyone else is looking for the ultimate reggae workout mix

I just got back from the gym... let me tell you, These Gyms in California are really intimidating.

Everyone looks like they walked out of a movie set.

I got on a treadmill between two blond flipping ponytails. They were running at 7.2 miles an hour without breaking a sweat. They just kept running and running.

After 10 minutes at 6.0, I was sliding off the machine.. a sweaty mess... Those chicks were STILL running. lol

    I'm out of shape.

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions! I appreciate it!

I know the feeling, I live in NYC!!! Just put on your music, dream of JA and ignore them - before you know it you'll be outrunning them!!!

I love Michael Franti, most of his music is good for working out. Getting ready to head to the basement to get started this morning, yeah!

Morgan Heritage keeps my feet moving on the treadmill. One Calling, More Teachings, Don't Haffi Dread and more. Positive and motivational!
