Back before Alfred got his van, drove through a flood from airport to Negril.
Wife was in back seat, where water started coming into the floorboard. The amp under the seat got wet and started cracking and popping.
Alfred was all "no problem", first of many trips with him.
Always had a toot of the horn for the pretty ladys, and was very proud of the block house he was building to leave for his family.
A good man that will be missed.

Tracy-I'm so sorry for your loss-you know Alfred spoke very fondly about you!
We had the pleasure of meeting Alfred a few years ago when we came to Negril with our then 17 year old son. Our flight actually arrived early and his smiling face was waiting for us.
A few days after arriving we decided we wanted to go to the Blue Hole in Brighton and had left him a message. Well I guess the message I left was spoken too fast (he couldn't understand my return cell number) so he drove down to the Riu at 11:30 p.m. to return my call and to set us up for the next AM. Although the Blue Hole wasn't a full day trip we spent the entire day with him. We rode through the countryside; he showed us an old dilapitated mansion from long ago and showed us many sights that an organized tour would not have. He brought us back through the West End and over to the lighthouse (which is our profile pic) At the time our son was not yet driving; Alfred had him ride shotgun the entire day and offered to teach him to drive! Alfred was a very genuine and sincere person. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and friends. I find it heartwarming how a complete stranger turned into a friend!
