I can think of nothing else since I heard the news about Alfred. He JUST dropped us at the airport a little over a week ago, very early on Sunday morning. We had a great conversation, simple, talked about how he lived his life cool, stayed away from conflict and crowded places, listened to some ska and some great vintage reggae while we headed down the road, we asked him to turned off the air and opened the windows, amazing morning sun, cool breeze, the start of another beautiful day. He passed a couple people needing ride and felt guilty he missed stopping to give them a lift. Strong beliefs, a good good heart, we felt like we were old friends but really just met him in the past year ( although my 11 yr old swears she knew him a long time from his picture on FB today) same with her ex-Ja father who was saddened thinks he knew him from a lolng time, as we spoke today, seeming to remember him as well. Alfred is THE guy you want to "reason" with, the man was a fine representation of his community and his country and a great friend to so many. To be gone like this would have shocked him too...not like this...it can't be real... GOD Bless and Keep you Alfred until we meet again.
