So sorry to hear. He was such a good guy. We were looking forward to having him pick us up in April.

I did not know Alfred personally, but knew of him. Words cannot describe the heaviness in my heart. My prayers and condolences go out to his family and loved ones. When such violence exists in a place of such incredible beauty, it is made all the more horrific by the contrast. When will it end?

So sorry to hear of this senseless and random loss of one of Negril's finest citizens. My heart goes out to family and friends, most especially to his children.

    RIP Dear Friend

Alfred will be missed so much by so many! My Jamaica will not be the same knowing that this senseless violence took such a great soul. I was so looking forward to seeing his smiling face a MoBay waiting for us next week. Was also looking forward to a planned daytrip with him, since the past day trips with him have been the highlight of our vacations for the many past years. Very greatful to be able to call him my friend, and very grateful for all the wonderful times we spent together. Not many good people are left in this world, but he was truly on the top of that list. Great man with a great outlook on life. May you rest in peace my friend and shine down upon us like you shined on this earth!

Wow!!!! This is very upsetting. I'm saddened, confused and angry that this has happened. It makes me question if I ever want to return to Negril. That said, I'll probably come around. We just met Alfred on Feb 10, 2012 when he picked us up at the Mobay Airport. Although my time with him was brief, it was very clear that he was a special human being. The kind of guy you could really rely on when the chips were down, a straight shooter, a stand up guy. I just loved the way he rolled, his old school perspective and was looking forward to seeing him again. He went out of his way to accomodate us on more than one occasion during that trip. Truly a man of uptstanding moral character and integrity and a joy to be around. And that wonderful sense of humor and infectious laugh....what can I say? We are REALLY really going to miss his company on our next reach.

Our sincere condolances to his loved ones and friends.
