Anxieties dissolve and concerns about work feel really far away. Your skin becomes tan and smells like ocean air. You wear less make up (your foundation no longer matches your skin tone anyway...) and you care less about silly body image insecurities. You wear a lot less clothes, basically your bathing suits become permanent uniforms. The toxins from all the fast food consumed in America are out of your system and you just feel more healthy from all the fresh fruits. You walk a little slower, you feel a slight tingle in your cheeks from smiling so much and you say “yeah man”... A LOT. It's involuntary. It just comes out as a response to most things followed by a nod.

You're in Island mode. It's the best feeling in the world...
I love reading your stuff ,but have never really commented on anything before as I leave that for others, however, I couldn't let this pass. You do have a way with describing feelings, that is a gift. You've captured something in words that I (we) have only ever felt with each other. Can't wait to meet you (both) in a few weeks and share that vibe.
Rise early, treat everyday as though it's your last and your last day as it's your first.

    Thanks Reggae Roy!

Spottycatz - Thanks for the kind compliment! We can’t wait to meet you guys too!!

Fred stripe – We’re staying in the Pisces cottage next month. So wait…WHERE is this crab again? In the bathroom, under the cabinet? It’s good to have a heads up about these things! LOL

Cassidygirl – Awww, That’s wonderful! We’re actually hoping for a Jamaica baby of our own. So that would be a good thing.

Kevin, PA – Thanks! You’re going to love it there , you will not want to ever leave!

Marley – I know! I’m so grateful that I’ll be able to experience 2 more days at Catcha next month and how cool is it that we’ll be there at the same time?! I can’t wait!

I still can’t believe this upcoming trip is *actually* happening. … I keep looking at my airline itinerary in disbelief.

Tizzy – LOL Sorry! I'll update more tonight

I also usually just sit back and read, while Kevin (Kevin, PA) does most of the talking...but have to tell you...

Island mode...you described that PERFECTLY! I read this while at work and it just made me smile. Now I'm really counting down the days until we get back to Negril. And I must try the lobster thermidor next time too...something I kept talking about but didn't get around to trying...

Looking forward to the rest of this report, and reading about Jamar's experience at BCC!
