Be aware that if you carry on liquor or rum cream. If you have a connecting flight, after clearing customs you will no longer be able to carry it on, it will have to be checked as it exceeds the 3 oz liquids limit. Best to pack it in your checked luggage before you leave the island.
One year, after clearing customs, and you all know the feeling after the long journey home, I put my bottles of rum cream on top of my luggage to give the last guy that asks you for that piece of paper, and they fell off and broke, I thought the immigration officer was going to kill me, and I was so upset.... I almost made it home but not quite with the all illusive rum cream it was a total bummer.

My boyfriend and I had said that this trip we were skipping the Appleton at duty free and bring only rum cream back. Can I really get away with more bottles than if they were hard liquor?? That's awesome! I love my Appleton (in the states the closest I have found to Ting to mix it with is Mello Yello) but rum cream is the way to go since we can't get it here! 24 days til my feet touch 7 mile!
If you are connecting out of the arrival airport, you will not be allowed to carry the bottles on, or at least it was that way last year.
I hope it's just the season but a friend of mine is at the airport returning and she called me to tell me the airport liquor store is sold out again of Banana Rum Cream.
