Hello from a newb!

Hi all! I'm a long time lurker but newly signed member to the board. I visited jamaica for the first time two and a half years ago and have been dying to go back since. I was lucky enough to spend time at the beautiful blue cave castle as well as the palladium all inclusive resort. The castle seriously felt like home, all of jamaica did. Alas, July 2013 is when I will see negril again and I can not wait!!!!

I've been lurking the board to learn more about the island and searching for destination wedding tips but finally joined because i hope to become apart of this wonderful community.

Check out Catcha Falling Star, they are amazing! Andrea and Mauvette are the best wedding planners around
Floral Fantasy is an amazing florist
Opia at Roots Cafe makes the most amazing wedding cakes!
And my favorite, our photographer, Ryan Lue-Clarke...... Who is the most amazing photographer EVER!!!!!

Now if you are planning on getting married at Blue Cave Castle, there are several boardies on here that got married there that can probably offer their tips or advice.
If you have any specific questions let me know and I will do my best to help out!

Marley we have actually been looking at home sweet home, I wanted a place on the cliffs and charming like the castle and hsh seems to fit the bill have been researching every resort in negril though. I've also fallen in love with catch a falling star, seastar inn, and vilas sur mer. Wish I could visit everything in one trip.

If you don't mind moving around a lot, It's possible.
We were faced with the same dilemna, I fell in love with all of those hotels you mentioned too.
We couldn't decide so we just booked all of them for our next reach.

Well, maybe you want to wait on that to hear how it turns out for us first.
We might end up over-exerting ourselves and advise all to avoid that approach

Home Sweet Home looks beautiful too - If you haven't read Guirigay's TR yet, I highly recommend it. It also has some awesome pictures of HSH.
