well - been back a few days

so the next day i call mi gyal, and suggest we do something.. she has the day off so she up for anything she says.. mi hire mi driver from the hotel i didnt name - he gave me a great price for the day 10grand for the whole day.. i tipped him 1 additional - still reasonable.. we went to Ys falls, since me and the kids had never been, turns out she had never been either... had a nice time however they had no swimming because rains had polluted the water.. it was very beautful though, and i i got some nice shots of both the falls, and the mountainous countryside and trees.. fat cows - and normal size horses.. it was comforting to know they arent all scrawny on the island.. i believe it was $16 each.. not bad i suppose but i would of liked to wade/swim in the falls - however i understand why it wasnt a good idea. after that we went to Black River and caught a safari boat tour - that was great.. crocodiles, birds, trees, history, botany.. the river itself was nice.. it was fun and very educational.. anywayss - we were hungry by this time, so we stopped at a little restuarant in Black River called yellow tail restuarant.. had great food.. i had the baked bbq chicken, my oldest had the brown stew pork, and my youngest as well as mi gyal had fried chicken and chips.. real nice time all four of us, all day... i wasnt sure that was gonna be so easy - my kids meshed really well with her.. a pleasant surprise.. we go back to negril, and i drop her at her house, she is gonna come back to hotel after going home to kids for a bit.. we go back to hotel - relax with friends for a while, she shows up around 830 and we head to sweet spice.. great choice - i had the beef tenderloin smothered in onions and green peppers and brown sauce.. amazing like always - got to sample her curry goat, and oldest also had the goat - she is a brave girl never having had it b4 - she enjoyed it too.. youngest had chicken and chips - notice a pattern - she likes it, so i dont fight it..on vacation anyway..

she asks my girls if they would like their hair done the next evening? the said yes so we made plans then to got to her yard and have her oldest daughter do there hair.. they are excited about it.. we go to the hotel, kids go to bed, we are on porch, still finding things to talk about - which i am a amazed about - cause i never have so much to say.. it was a good night..

so here it is monday - our last full day.. omg i am depressed.. like never before.. she works till 5, the kids are swimming in the pool - my friends offer to watch the kids while i go to town, so i run in - grab a little cash at the atm - walk around - man i love walking around downtown.. it ranks real high for me.. i decide i need blue dandy so i walk down there - and he is there.. so i got a chicken and went back to the hotel.. ate with kids, skulked around.. friends came by around 4, and i visited but excused myself to get a shower, she would be off soon and we would head to her yard..first time for my kids, first time with the sun out for me.. it is around 25 km away from negril, off the main rd just a mile or two - a beautiful hill with her 2 rm house on it, her moms place behind to the right, and sister from farrins future home being built to the left.. i loved it.. 2 rms maybe - but it was very functional.. her oldest duaghter did a great job putting some braids in there hair.. not their whole head - but it really looked nice - i am not always a fan.. she was good.. and then i asked her whole family if they would like to go out for dinner - anywhere they wanted - and believe it or not - her kids (age 15,19,20) all choose kfc - i wasnt there to argue - but when i had said anywhere - meant anywhere - ie rockhouse - or ivans - or pucshcart - yknow - somewhere special.. but they wanted kfc - and you know what - it was special -- her granddaughter (4) was such hoot - awfully shy at first - but warmed up quick.. we all had a great time..love that spicy kfc (21pc meal deal with all the sides we wanted and drinks cost about 3600ja ) we dropped her kids off at her place -and then continued back to negril..we speed packed, got kids in bed, last night on the rock - we didnt let that bother us - had a amazing time.. didnt really sleep, kissed her goodbye before me and the kids left - it wasnt a sad goodbye - i know i will be back asap - and i think she knows it too.. we had a uneventful ride to the airport for a 11am flight - ate the traditional wendys going away meal before boarding - we had a great trip - and even though i suffered in the beginning - the kids didnt - they had a blast everyday - and i came around - everything is irie - cant wait to see mi beauty in ja.. hope i didnt bore anyone..
