Melody - last time they served 2 types tuna and cheese. There were also a couple of canapés but I can't recall what they were.

I agree, tuna and cheese doesn't sound too exciting. They also have fresh fruit, right? I'm thinking we could order something more substantial at Vibes as well to supplement if we want. Last time, we ordered a burger and fries from there and it wasn't too expensive and was good. I guess I'm just comparing Club Mobay's food to the cost and quality of the airplane food. If I can avoid purchasing anything on the plane because of what I get at Club Mobay, I'm saving $10 pp right there, or more.....deduct that amount from the cost of the Club Moday voucher, and it makes it even more affordable to obtain the perks of expedited security, a few drinks, and the comfort and relaxation of the lounge.
Does it include separate, priority boarding of your plane as well (same as if we had first class tickets)? I'm thinking not, as I've read they will let you know when your flight is boarding (but don't assume responsibility for missed flights) - therefore we would need first class tickets for priority boarding.
2nutz - maybe weekday departures are better than mid-day on a Saturday. Our experience mid-day Saturday in February presented a line-up to security that went 3/4 of the way down the length of the airport lobby, then hitting the corral. I remember noticing the short line of Club Moday guests off to the side of the corral and drooling with envy (while I was getting cranky). Chances are, the general line will be shorter Dec 1st, compared to Feb 25th, but I still suspect the Sat. departure and time will mean it won't be a breeze either. Not sure what it would be like leaving Xmas Eve....maybe really quiet, or the opposite!
One doesn't have to purchase for Club Moday in advance. You could wait until you get there, if the line is long, you can bypass it and go to their kiosk and purchase then. I believe it's $35 pp when purchased that way?
Thanks MelodyWith Christmas Eve being a Monday, it might not be too bad. People will have had the weekend to travel. Waiting until we see the line sounds like a plan. I guess we've been lucky with the airport, but we're always there Nov-Dec, not during busy season.
it's great . you get your own private line for customs also . some of the credit cards allow you access. merrill lynch has a card that if you spend enuff believe 50m/year you can gain access.
