Glad you guys had a nice trip. Captain Oil quote:" A bunch of clothes we did not wear." That is what I'm afraid of, I do it every year, over pack! A girl needs options though....lol
I'm also trying to stay at 50lbs so I don't have to pay extra luggage fees. I bring drinks, and snacks from home like water, diet soda, juice, etc. to have in the room, that should cut down a little on extra spending and save me, so I can stay in my party plan budget per Marko!lol

i've done it on $50 per day - but i like to eat yard food when i'm there - maybe a splurge at ivan's now and then - usually one all day tour

i also hold it to breakfast, lunch and dinner and not every temptation that walks up the beach and i get those for about $10 or less per meal

as for my bar bill? i usually hit up HiLo and have my own - i probably have a flask in my beach bag

some days i do things and some days i flop and let sand gravity pull me under

i think the more days you stay you learn where to eat on a budget

the FIRST day always costs the most . . . lol

Grew up in Rockville??? I moved to Rockville when I left Jamaica. I wonder if we know each other?

My parents sold the home in Rockville that I grew up in about 2 1/2 years ago.

I budget $100 per day but never spend that kind of money until I blow it all on the last day.

I hit up Hi-Lo for groceries and pretty much eat breakfast an lunch from those groceries. Dinner is spent out and since I'm allergic to shellfish, my meals are never pricey. Most expensive splurge is dinner at Pushcart - $20 plus drinks. I have my own bar stash. I do go out to the clubs and that's where it can add up especially if you buy drinks.

I do usually buy from the pork man everyday from Dean, fruit from Gem everyday, pineapple juice from the juice man to go with my Cocomania.

For me $100 is comfortable and works.
