i love looking out the plane window and getting that first glimpse of jamaica...the road leading to negril....then when the front wheel of that plane touches down i feel like a kid on christmas morning! i love the peacefulnesss of the beach in the early morning...no stress, all my worries are left behind!
the best thing about Jamaica for us, is being together 24/7, and building more wonderful memories to fit in with the last 35 years of being together........ sharing the sights,sounds, and yes, smells of paradise once again..........

I don't think there is much I can add to this. You all hit it dead on. I am totally with Rambo though - being with my wife and family 24/7 for 10 days is simply the best.
Oh yeah, the food, the music, the Red Stripe, the beach, and most of all - the wonderful people of Jamaica.
It's all about the open air bars and submarine sandwiches

For me, it's slowing down...being on Jamaica time. The sound of the tree frogs is Heaven's ragtime band.
What makes a great vacation in Negril for me? In no particular order:
- Plenty of sun
- The sounds of tree frogs at night
- Great tasting buds
- Ice cold Red Stripe
- Music
- Dirty Bananas
- Visiting with the locals
- Jerk Chicken
- Floating in the water near the cliffs

After going to Negril many time we have learned how to whittle off whats not needed....We fly with a carry on so when we get off the plane no wait for luggage.....Take a private car and get away from the busy airport fast and instead of being on a bus where they all say No dont stop,just drive real fast past these nice little roadside bars, We stop and take our time....Remember stopping at the Lollipop bar?Just slow down and take it all in......
