Serious bummer start Cdn! I have had driver mishap starts to caribbean vacations before, multiple drivers showing up like you. No one ever wants to accept they goofed. Try to shake it off, I hope you're having fun at canoe.

you may need to check the place that you were originally going to stay for your luggage in case it was taken there and tell someone there (hopefully not the owner) to look out for it and call you if it comes--you probably already did that though. I know quite a few people that have had their luggage successfully delivered to them in Negril. I hope that the rest of your stay more than makes up for the bumpy start and that you make it to Canoe tonight for some fun!
Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I'm doing this on my phone this time so going to keep it short, good news-westjet says they have my bag, apparently its on its way! We're at Hidden Paradise now, enjoying it so far, just got back from the pool and were talking about where to go for dinner, looks like Canoe it is!
Definitely feeling a lot better about things, a lot of that due to having the feedback and support from everyone here, you guys are so awesome!
When I talked to the guy at westjet the bag hadn't left yet and he said he knew to send it where we are staying now, I hope to god it doesn't go to the other place!
woo hoo! Excellent, let the good times roll! Canoe is a great choice for dinner. And Hidden Paradise will probably treat you well--it is on my list of places to stay since it is in my price range and I like the photos and reviews I have seen. Glad you and your luggage will be reunited and that they aren't going to leave it the other place.
I got my luggage! It got here around 9 just after we got back from Canoe, which was EXCELLENT. So nice meeting everybody...now trying to decide if I'm too tired for the Jungle...
