When I lived in Miami I always dreaded June-November...you just never knew when you were going to have to put the heavy ass hurricane shutters up...those metal ones are no joke. All it had to do was rain for more than an hour and there was flooding...then the aftermath of billions of mosquitos from the standing stagnant water...ugh!
