Urgent - received this obvious spam mail from easy rock sue - please ignore

I'm sorry for not informing you about our trip to Manila,Philippines.We had to visit a resort in Manila,Philippines,Unfortunately we got mugged at GUN POINT by some muggers,all cash,credit card and phone were stolen away.It was a scary experience but glad we still have our lives and passports.We've been to the Embassy but they are not been 100% supportive.Return flight leaves in few hours but having troubles sorting out the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't allow us to leave until we settle the bill.

Her email account has been comprimised. I received the same email from her. Funny, as I saw her yesterday at the Westender Inn. I called her this morning and she is aware that her email was hacked.

I've seen a version of this in the past - believe the location was Rome or London - hacked e-mail from someone on another JA message board. I knew this person would never ask me for $$$. Scam for sure. The phone version scamming elders is someone pretending to be a grandchild who needs $$$.

I got two different ones so far. The Manilla one and another of the same occuring in Madrid. I spoke to her on the phone about it because I saw that it had been compromised before the emails even started. Her Judy House website was hacked and my Norton 360 advanced security picked it up and warned me. I sure anybody who was on Sue's contacts got the same emails. I hope no one got suckered as that woman does get around but not at this time of the year.
