I am more accustomed to making the money switch now. First time I went to a grocery store and spent $6,000 + my initial reaction was "WT*?" but I am better now. What I still can't get used to is paying $4 usd/lb for chicken? You would do better to buy that more locally in the smaller shops or find someone that knows where they can get fresh poultry. Then is is more like $250 - 300 JD/lb. If you are feeding a crowd, it makes a difference. With those prices, I can see why chicken back is so popular - they call it "ghetto steak" and it's good too.
Peace.
EDITED : NOTE: DISREGARD PRIOR COMMENT ABOUT PRICES - I plead sticker shock & confusion.I misread the label.
