Yes, I've read good and bad reviews.... And looked at photos of the rooms online (not terribly appealing, and photos are usually better than in-person!). The good reviews did get me wondering about it when seeing this deal, $50 more with AI than Rooms.... could eat there once a day & have drinks here and there to get more than $50 worth over a week (and I'm NOT an AI person after my trip to Negril in Feb.!) Are the beach areas at Rooms & Fun Holiday equally good? Are the rooms at Rooms considerably better than Fun Holiday? Seems to me, I'd read a comment where someone suggested that maybe there are more instances of overbooking at Fun Holiday when not booked as a package deal.

Truthfully, both are not on my list of places I'd like to stay, much rather stay at a good boutique hotel. Just thinking it may be an inexpensive way to slip in an extra trip to Negril sometime when I can be more spontaneous. I realize though that a lousy hotel experience may not be worth the "deal". Unfortunately, my city has a small airport with not much selection (other than mega AIs) for packages, which in this case, saves a few hundred dollars, and it's a long flight with few direct flights (none after April for the summer)
