We’re back from Negril - We had the time of our lives!
We knew going into this trip that it was going to be a very special one.
We were going to celebrate a milestone in our lives (our Ten year wedding anniversary), we were going to meet my family in Mandeville for the first time and on top of that we were going to connect with a whole crew of amazing boardies.
We were also going to experience the longest vacation ever – 12 whole days in Jamaica!
I was excited and admittedly….a little nervous.
I’m actually really shy (Unlike my extremely outgoing husband) and it takes a while for me to open up/feel comfortable.
It turns out, I had nothing to worry about. I met some of the most incredible, funny, intelligent, caring and compassionate people in the past 12 days. We made so many new friends, I connected with my family, we experienced 6 different hotels... We traveled around Jamaica, from Mobay to Mandeville to Belmont and back to Negril. This trip was life changing!

Marley, Ninja, Giurigay, Sweetiepie, Booger, Sandy, Tizzy, Sweetness, Spottycatz, Beachgirl, Patty, Brasi, Indybob, Muzikdoc, BellaBea, Katho, Rob, Lisa – I love you guys! Drummerboy13, Becca_jean, +1, Wyogi, , Efka, Coco, Lorax2, Jim & Donna, Tawnee, RastaStan, Luvsdaisland, Gerryg123, SuzieQ and so many others…too many to even attempt to list here… it was just amazing to meet you all!!Wow! What a time!
This trip was a dream come true for us and I feel so blessed that we were able to experience all that we did. It was the best vacation we’ve had in our entire lives!! Everytime I think about the trip we had, this huge smile washes over my face. This trip was what we needed, we feel refreshed and renewed… just so incredibly happy and grateful…I wish I had a better way of describing this feeling in words
We’re going to try to put it all down in a trip report but you already know we are slow as snails. So Please be patient with us…lol – we need a few days adjust to ‘the real world’ again.
