Any medications? Travellers Checks? Sun screen and bug spray? Sunglasses? Beer Coozie?
How about a few extra batteries for flashlight? And one of those locks that lets you attach laptop to something immovable in room?
Bubba Keg - sure is nice having a huge ice water lasting all day on the beach - or lasting all night for in the morning.

I always hit the bank for lots of $5's - for leaving for maid each day - and lots of $1's - for other tips.

Have you ever thought of leaving the watches behind (at least the backup), and just using the clock on your cell?

I've never brought more than 3 bathing suits - and that was my 5-week trip.
6 bathing suits sounds like a lot for 12 days - for a guy! Sorry Gerry but I had to mention it. LOL.

    Enjoy your 12 days.

good list Gerry - zip locs are so great to have for many things.

I always take a sharp knife in my checked bag for slicing fruits/cooking.
i always bring a tablecloth from the dollar store and leave it.....colorful and nice to have luxury item for my patio table.
Also bring my bootleg mix JA CDs to listen to on my laptop while I have coffee each mornin.
I bring a thumb drive to and copy my photos to it (just in case something happens to my camera or laptop)
OK a weirdo thing I bring too is my own soft pillowcase.
Never travel anywhere without my dominos either!

OK back to my own packing.....SOON COME Jamaica!!!!!!

Don't forget to pack your sunscreen Gerryg123 and ditch one of the watches. Sounds like you're all set to go!

Sweetness - I like the idea of a portable thumb drive to copy photos too. I'm definitely going to do that.

I don't do travellers checks based on a forewarning by Brassi, though I do have two bank cards I keep in separate places, but I usually split up my cash between safe, a hiding place and my pocket.

The sunscreen I lump in with sundries.

I bring extra bathing suits partly for variety reasons cause, like most of us, I am wearing a suit like 90 percent of the time.

Never considered batteries or a bubba keg, but the laptop lock sounds like a great idea.

Can't go without a watch cause I don't always have my cell on me, and I also have to do a little work mixed in with all the fun n sun .....

I missed the warning on TCs by Brassi?
My bank issues TCs with no fees. The cambios all take them and as long as I plan for Sundays/Holidays, no problems ever using them - unless changed in last 6mos.
Plus it helps me keep to budget - when my cash is gone for the day, no more spending until I cash TCs budgeted for next day.

Also, my ATM charges both out-of-network fee and 3% foreign transaction fee. On a past trip, after returning and getting my bank statement - I had surprise of fees totalling a little more than $US12 for each $300 withdrawal - so THAT is for emergencies only for me, now. I know Canadians with Scotia Bank accounts are lucky there and probably some US banks, too - but it's worth checking your agreement to NOT be similarly surprised. If I had card with no fees I might change my method.

Laptop locks can be gotten really cheap on eBay - if you have time before your trip. I prefer combination type so don't have to worry about another key.

The Bubba Keg is great - many sizes but I found 52oz size is perfect for beach. I pack it with small items so doesn't take up so much valuable space in bag. Wal-Mart has them during warmer months in my area - or you can order from the Bubba Keg website. I usually give it to security guard or beach guard when I leave. They LOVE it because I have yet to see them in stores there - not to say they aren't available in MoBay or somewhere.

It is also good to bring along some pediatric electrolyte. They now have it in powder. Just add to water. GREAT if you are dehydrated, hung over, or vomiting and diarrhea. If you do not use it give it to someone with a child. WICKED good for hangovers~~
