Heading to Negril for the first time. I've been to Ocho Rios and MoBay and I loved it.

Can you recommend any events or places to visit in Negril??

I've been reading the forums daily but just wanted some input.

Since you got no replies so far I'll give u my two cents: ....SeaStar has a band and buffet every Saturday night that is not to be missed.

Places to visit:

Ricks to see the cliff divers
Lighthouse for views
Times Square for shopping
craft market for shopping
half moon beach for a chill day on a private beach
rhodes hall for horseback riding

Definitely plan a sunset dinner at one of the cliff eateries like, Pushcart, 3 Dives, LTU, Xtabi, Ivans etc
Spend a day at Xtabi exploring the caves and cliff jumping
Spend a day walking up and down the beach visiting as many local bars and establishments as possible

There's plenty to do and see you won't be bored !!!
And there are plenty of tours within a few hours too like:
Pelican Bar
YS Falls
Appleton Estate
Black River
Mayfield Falls

Late Tuesday nights till sunrise at MiYard for live DJ's on da West End Rd – Open 24 Hours
Alfreds on da beach for Live Music on Tuesday nights 10PM - 2PM $500J Admission
Well Drinks, Red Stripe, Heinken, Guiness, etc are all $200J's

Wednesday nights “On the Rocks” has a party night dj playing on da West End Road
Roots Bamboo on Wednesday nights for Live Reggae Concert on da beach 10PM till 2AM

I arrive in the afternoon in MoBay so i don't think we are going to have time for the pub crawl...everyday will be a pub crawl for me though...lol
