    Weird Dreams Before I go

Does anybody else have weird dreams before they leave for Jamaica. We arrive on Friday and the dreams started last night.
One was the plane from NY decided to go to Chicago first. The plane was flying low between the buildings and then landed in the middle of the city. They were going to bus us to the airport to get another flight. The end. Woke up.

Back to sleep and we are on our way home from Jamaica to thick ice all of the trees. Limbs were hanging so low they were scraping the car. Get home and have no house key to get in. It's the middle of the night. The end-woke up again.

Hahaha just stay in Jamaica and avoid all that, LOL

Every once in a whileI dream that I was in Jamaica doing my own thing, and then when I wanted to contact a friend my phone wouldn't work right - I couldn't punch the number in correctly, or the phone would bust apart, or I couldn't ever get the complete number punched in before something would distract me. Also wandering through bar hallways and staircases trying to find the person!

This could be an interesting thread!

I leave for Negril on sunday and I am already having dreams too. lol! In my dream last night I got to the airport 50 mins before my flight was to take off, only to realize at the gate I had forgotten my passport. Somehow I made the flight, even after driving all the way back home. Then I am in Jamaica and my magnetic strip on my debit/credit card stops working.....uhoh!! I just called my bank a few minutes ago to see about getting a brand new card to start my trip with....cuz my strip is actually about worn out. I am excited for this trip, but nervous at the same time. First big trip solo. Hope for hassle free, or at least a calm state of mind when the hassles do happen.

I used to have dreams about getting to the airport to start my vacation .....traffic jams, trying to call airport to tell them to hold the plane and messing up the number or dropping the quarter for the pay phone, gates closing in front of me. However, that all stopped after on trip where I arrived at the airport after a 3 day ice storm to find flights cancelled...was offered a multiple stop flight down which I took.....but was late for each plane due to circumstances beyond my control....had gates closed, etc.....finally arrived in Kingston at 2:00 am....and then had to get to Negril. Which I did with a taxi (and a driver who had never been to Negril - and arrrived at 9 am) I guess the fact that I got to the island cured me in spite of all the cancellations.
    Thank Goodness.

LOL, no kidding....but on the up side it taught me that in fact you can still get there in spite of missing planes, the Jamaican pull will win over anything!!!!.....and I didn't even tell you about the trip from Kingston over the mountains at night with a driver who kept stopping in Police Station parking lots to "have a likkle sleep" since he had been up all the night before as well......not withstanding that he didn't know where he was going!!!!

I always get those dreams too...they range anywhere from forgetting to bring my luggage to not knowing where I am staying when I get there. They are usually very strange...

Yes, I have a recurring dream where I know I'm in Negril, but nothing looks familiar and I can't find my hotel or the people I'm supposed to meet. The dream used to cause me to wake up with anxiety, but I've trained myself to dream that I just put my bags behind the bar and go for a swim until I wake up.
