AT&T Iphone Data Fees ?
I want to be able to use my iphone for accessing the internet and apps etc...
My question is if I am in a wifi zone while in Negril can I use iphone without being charged anything extra? Do I need to change my settings on anything while I'm there? I can't remember but I think last time I did something to my phone on the airlplane or when I got there. I'm really bad with this kind of stuff and would appreciate some help. No time to go by ATT....

IPHONE fees
You need to do into the setup and TURN OFF data roaming. By doing this it will not access the cell system for data.

Yep, just put it in airplane mode....then connect to any available wifi and you are good to go.

Yes you can use your iPhone...I always put the phone in airplane mode, then turn off data roaming (very important). Then go back and turn on the wifi and your ready to go...

Beware... AT&T's international plan says it includes Jamaica... what they don't tell you is it only covers the Kingston area. Trust me, some of our friends came home to a very unpleasant surprise on their next phone bill.

Ok cool. Thanks....so airplane mode, what from the time I get in the airplane then leave it in that mode until I get back to US? Sounds simple enough. I never use data roaming, what's that for anyways?
