Thank you so much everyone for your kind comments and well wishes on our 10 year anniversary!! It was so wonderful, the whole day was a dream come true for us...

It's 7:45 AM and I just woke up. We didn't fall asleep until sometime after 2 AM last night so I really should crawl back into bed...but I don't want to miss a single hour of sunlight here at Villa Sur Mer. We have to check out today and I don't want to leave!

It's so warm today and the sun is shining out brightly already. The birds are singing in the trees... it's so peaceful. When I first woke up, I walked around the grounds barefoot in my pajamas and didn't bump into a single person.. This is really like a private tropical paradise. I've never experienced anything like this before in my life...

Yesterday was incredible. Everyone at Villa Sur Mer went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration amazing! The main house was empty, so we were able to lounge on the top deck with a view of the ocean and a private pool...Cliff (amazing bartender) brought us Mango Colada's and fresh water- We snorkeled together and saw so many colorful fish. Markus discovered a bat cave...

At 5:30 a driver arrived, and took us to dinner. Markus had arranged for a special table at Blue Mahoe restaurant and the SPA RETREAT - it was right on the water with the perfect view of the sunset. I was overwhelmed by the whole experience. The coconut shrimp was amazing, Every dish was outstanding. The chef, Kevin came by to see how we were doing. Dian, the manager came by with a special bottle of chilled wine from a certain someone. (you know who you are, and thank you!)
Once again I was in tears, Markus started it this time...We're both just so happy and grateful to be here. I know I keep saying that, but the feeling is just so intense.

When we returned from dinner, we were sufficiently full and a little more than tipsy, We remembered Booger's 4/20 party and realized the time..a little after 8 PM...We jumped in a cab and decided to drop by..,

Rob, Lisa, PattySather, Beachgirl69,Becca_jean, Brasi, Balaboo and some others... (oh and of course, Manda & Joe!) were still partying. Gerryg123 had already left and apparently I missed booger too...by five minutes.
I can't describe how amazing it was to meet everyone. Patty is even more beautiful in person, I absolutely love Beachgirl! Becca was so fun! Got to hug Brasi! So great seeing Rob & lisa again... it was such a fun night. Perfect ending to the most perfect anniversary day...

When we returned to Villa Sur Mer, The groundskeeper turned on the lights in the lagoon pool and we swam together and we explore the underground caves at night...I wish I had a picture of that, it's so beautiful....We didn't want to sleep because we didn't want the night to end...

Now it's time to wake up Markus and start the day. We need to pack up our stuff and say goodbye to the beautiful Villa Sur Mer..

We're heading to Seastar Inn, Tonight is the Luciano concert... and everyone is flying in this afternoon. I can't wait!
Oh and Manda - you're coming with us to Mandeville Sunday night. We're visiting my family! We'll drop you back off with Patty Sather when we return to Negril at 2:30 for the bellyflop.

So glad you are enjoying. The weather has been beautiful! Little rain but just enough to cool things down & keep it fresh. Nights have been cool & not too muggy.
